From Raleigh to Utah —
and Completely Hooked
I grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina, but Utah never felt foreign to me. My family made the trip out at least twice a year — Salt Lake, Midway, the mountains — so when I enrolled at Utah State in 2019, it felt less like a leap and more like coming back somewhere I already loved. I entered through the Huntsman School of Business, took a brief detour into psychology (still don't regret it), and came back to finish my Business and Communication degree in December 2023. It's a combination I use every single day — the business foundation shapes how I think about pricing, strategy, and negotiation, and the communication side is what makes it actually work with people.
I was never someone who could sit still waiting for things to happen. While finishing my degree I was already deep in the industry — learning how properties are valued, how investors think, how markets move. I did everything I could in the industry I legally could without my license. As soon as I received my Bachelor's, I got my Real Estate License and was ready to jump in.
"I once had a semester where I was planning my wedding, carrying 21 credits, and running a property management company. Real estate transactions have never felt chaotic since."
In my first two years licensed, I closed 35 transactions totaling $18.8 million — across land deals, luxury homes, new construction, condos, investment properties, and first-time buyers. The range is something I'm proud of. I've been recognized as a Top 250 Agent in the area and am a leader at The Broker, and the work just keeps getting better.
Built From the Ground Up
First Step Into Real Estate
Started in property management in Logan while still finishing my degree — learning the fundamentals of how properties work, what tenants need, and how investors think.
Orem · Capital Choice · Full Send
Moved to Orem and joined my mentor, broker Rusty Boshard, at Capital Choice. Took on a leadership role in operations while finishing my degree — there was a stretch where I was simultaneously carrying 21 credits, planning my wedding, and running a property management company. It was a lot. It was also excellent preparation for everything that came after.
Graduated Utah State University
Earned my Bachelor's in Business & Communication. By this point I already had two years of real-world real estate experience under my belt.
Licensed · 16 Closings · $8.1M
Received my real estate license in February 2024 — right after finishing my degree — and closed 16 transactions totaling $8,157,115 in year one. Land deals, condos, investors, first-time buyers, luxury homes. Didn't specialize. Learned everything.
Top 250 Agent · 19 Closings · $10.6M
Grew to 19 closings and $10,666,958 in volume. Recognized as a Top 250 Agent in the area by UCAR. Continued expanding across Utah and Salt Lake County, with a particular focus on luxury, new construction, and investment properties.
Why I Do It the Way I Do
My business degree taught me how to think about a deal — the numbers, the strategy, the negotiation. But what actually makes a real estate transaction work is understanding the person on the other side of it. People aren't buying square footage. They're making some of the biggest financial and emotional decisions of their lives, often both at once. I take that seriously.
I bring real marketing to every listing — professional photography, polished materials, a proper launch strategy — because I believe every home deserves to be shown at its absolute best, full stop. And for buyers, I bring patience, straight talk, and genuine investment in finding the right fit, not just the next available option.
"I've closed land deals, luxury parade homes, new construction, investment properties, and first-time buyer transactions. The range keeps me sharp."
Because I also own investment properties personally and have deep experience in the rental market, I can speak fluently with investors, house hackers, and anyone building a portfolio — not as a talking point, but because I've actually done it. That background gives my clients a perspective most agents simply don't have.
How It All Came Together
Arrived at Utah State University
Moved from Raleigh, NC to Logan, UT. Began studying Business & Communication, with a stint in Psychology that would prove surprisingly relevant.
A Little More About Me
I'm married and live in Utah County, and I've fully leaned into the Utah life in a way my Raleigh self never would have predicted. Here's a more honest version of what I'm actually like outside of work.
Converted Skier
My husband taught me to ski — which I deeply resented at first, having sworn after my first run that I'd never do it again. Now I have a season pass and try to get up to Deer Valley, Snow Basin, or Alta twice a week. He takes full credit.
Reader of Dumb Books
I do not read business books in my free time. Give me a thriller, a romance, or anything that has no practical application whatsoever. I read to turn my brain off.
Food Person
I take restaurants seriously. New spots, good atmospheres, interesting menus — ask me for a recommendation anywhere I've traveled and I'll give you a very specific answer.
Staying Active
Working out is part of my routine — workouts, walks, pilates, yoga, fun classes. I genuinely enjoy moving and will try basically any format at least once.
Always Planning a Trip
My husband and I love to travel together — exploring new places, trying restaurants we've never heard of, and finding excuses to go somewhere neither of us has been. There's something about being somewhere unfamiliar that resets everything.
Friends & Family
I'm obsessively close with my cousins and we're always finding excuses to be together — games, shopping, trips, you name it. My husband fits right in. We got married in 2023 and he's become the biggest fan of my career, living vicariously through every deal. He shares the same love for houses I do, which makes him a great (very opinionated) sounding board.
